Edmond H. “Sonny” Knoll

Sonny Knoll is an accomplished trial lawyer and advocate for victims of catastrophic losses and injuries. He vigorously and relentlessly fights for his clients. Recently, Sonny obtained a record-breaking verdict in Louisiana for wrongful death and survival damages, and has successfully litigated numerous large cases to settlement. Sonny keeps a limited case load because he devotes so much time, energy and effort to his cases.

Sonny’s innately competitive spirit and drive to succeed won him a spot on LSU baseball’s National Championship-winning teams in 1996 and 1997. Sonny brings that competitive nature to his litigation practice, where he strives to protect and advocate for injured victims who are bullied by defendants.

Sonny has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, and has been featured in Louisiana Advocates and the prestigious national publication, Trial Magazine, for his trial work on a multi-million dollar jury verdict. Sonny has also been a featured speaker/lecturer for the Louisiana Association for Justice to other attorneys regarding maximizing wrongful death and survival damages.

Sonny is a native of Markville, and is the third son of Eddie (Sr.) and Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Jeannette Knoll. Sonny received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 2003. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Avoyelles Parish Bar Association, and the Louisiana and American Associations for Justice and is an “Advocate” for the American Association of Justice. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Louisiana.
